Diane Katzman

Throughout Diane Katzman’s life, there has always been a strong, nurturing connection between family and the jewelry business. Her great-grandfather Isaac Wigdor owned a jewelry store in Bayonne, New Jersey, that spanned two centuries and three generations. It seemed only natural for Diane to pass along the family’s passion for jewelry to her three young daughters, who learned how to count by stringing beads at the kitchen table.

A former Madison Avenue marketer, Diane began her career marketing new products for fashion and retail accounts. In the mid-1980s, Diane founded a Capitol Hill public relations firm where she worked closely with national associations and local governments, helping her clients discover creative ways to build lasting relationships with their customers, prospects and employees.

In the mid-1990s, Diane moved to St. Louis to marry David Katzman, whose family was also in the jewelry business. She began teaching marketing at Washington University while raising her family. When the jewelry Diane created began attracting national retailers, she parlayed her love of marketing and flair for jewelry design into a multimillion-dollar jewelry and gift corporation. A fourth-generation jewelry business was born in 1999 with the founding of Diane Katzman Design.

For years a favorite at New York’s Museum of Arts & Design, Saks Fifth Avenue and the Neiman Marcus catalog, the Diane Katzman brand has been featured in top fashion publications, including Elle, InStyle and Modern Bride, and on The View and One Life to Live. Her line has graced the runway collections of Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole, Missoni and Escada. Today, Diane Katzman Design offers a complete line of jewelry, accessories and gifts for woman, man and beast.

Amy Neeter

Operations Manager

Amy Neeter manages wholesale and retail operations for Diane Katzman Design. Amy’s solid background in customer service and management experience with Chico’s, Express, Crate & Barrel and Adam’s Mark have proven to be an asset to Diane Katzman Design. In her role as operations manager, Amy oversees the catalog, private label merchandise and shipping.

Sveta Kurbatava

Production Manager

Sveta Kurbatava has been a key member of the Diane Katzman Design team from the very beginning. In her role as production manager, Sveta oversees quality assurance operations, ensuring the finest quality of all products and components. A former Russian military engineer, Sveta has a keen eye for detail. Her fluency in three languages has proven to be a strong asset to Diane Katzman Design as she communicates with international buyers and factories abroad.
